Clemson barely makes it out.
Saturday night, Clemson claimed a victory over Texas A&M in a matchup decided by a difference of two points. While far from an impressive showing for the program, it provided a learning opportunity in the process of knocking down a 28-26 win.
“This is a game we can really grow from,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney said on ESPN’s broadcast. “We’re thankful that we got the win. I’m proud of our guys. “Neither team wanted to lose. I think you saw that tonight. Both teams fought incredibly hard. We were fortunate to come out on top, no doubt about it.”
Ultimately, it was senior quarterback Kelly Bryant who stepped up to bring it home, going 12-for-17 and passing for 205 yards and a touchdown and rushing for 54 yards and a score.
The Aggies certainly didn’t go down without a fight, coming into the second half with a deficit of 28-13. An opportune two-point conversion would have sent the game into overtime in the final minute, but Clemson’s Mark Fields successfully intercepted A&M quarterback Kellen Mond in the end zone, bringing things to an end with an on-side kick from senior Hunter Renfrow.
This now marks Clemson’s fourth consecutive road win against an SEC opponent and checks off what is possibly their toughest road game opponent this season.

If you can watch that Clemson/A&M game and tell me with a straight face that CFB isn't more fun than the NFL, then I just can't help you.
I just can't.
What a game.

GET THEM JIMBO! I’m disgusted. We could have won this game, but 3 complete bullshit calls by these refs will win it for #clemson.

This game is totally RIGGED! Cheatin’ Clemson are in COLLUSION with the refs to get favorable calls. Mueller (and his 13 angry democrats) should investigate that! They’ll find more with there then with me.

Clemson been handling themselves like a heavyweight champ all night. Responding to each punch like a champ

Clemson has now won 8 of its last 10 vs SEC teams. Tigers have 14 wins over SEC teams since Dabo Swinney became head coach in Oct of 2008, most among non SEC coaches in that time period.

It is so ridiculous that a game gets decided by whether a football was fumbled out of bounds or through the end zone, as is the case with Texas A&M and Clemson. No rule in football frustrates me more. Punishment is too severe on both levels.

Kellen Mond played absolutely lights out. Absolutely proved why he was a 5⭐️ recruit.
Jimbo Fisher proved that he is a fantastic coach.
The 12th man is absolutely unreal!
Texas A&M is a really good team!
I never wanna see Clemson play in College Station again!
